leaf 1. How long does the filler treatment take?

  • The treatment generally takes 30 minutes.
  • The time differs somewhat, depending on the correction you whish to have preformed.



2. Is this treatment painful and what form of Anaesthesia is used?
  • Most people find the injections relatively painless.
  • If you like, a topical anaesthetic can be applied to the area being treated prior to the procedure.
  • When enhancing the lips, a dental block will be given.



3. Is all equipment used sterile and used only for me?
  • All sterile and new needles and syringes are used.
  • All material used will be thrown away after treatment.



4. What is this Filler made of and do I need to be tested to find out if I'm allergic to it?
  • The filler consist of hyaluronic acid and no skin testing is needed.



5. What type of aftercare regime will I need after the treatment?
  • In order to avoid the risk of inflammation, it is advisable that for a few days afterwards you not be exposed to under 0 degree Celsius and strong sun.



6. Will I need pain relief following the treatment?
  • You can expect slight tenderness after the treatment.
  • Pain medication can be taken if necessary.



7. Will I have swelling and bruising and can these be treated?
  • You might experience swelling and bruising and it can be treated by applying cold packs and arnica cream to the areas.



8. At what stage will I be able to judge the results of treatment?
  • Approximately 48 hours afterwards.
  • If bruising occurred, especially on the lips, you can only judge after the bruising has resolved.



9. Will I be reviewed after the treatment and is this included in the price?
  • You will be reviewed on no extra cost.



10. How long does the result last?
  • Between 9 to 12 months depending on the area and your metabolism.



11. What will happen if I'm unhappy with any aspect of the treatment?
